Los Castillo Married Metals

Los Castillo brothers (primarily Chato Castillo) in the early 50's started designing what they called married metals; basically combinations of silver copper and other metals (generally brass). Mexican Presidents when they needed to give a gift to foreign dignitories, specifically called Los Castillo Brother workshop in Taxco to see what they had in stock in married metals. Boxes or trays were typically what the Presidents got and foreigners deeply appreciated the gifts.
